@josuelitos Another tip…always mow more slowly than you think you need to, as it’s better for the grass, and the little critters will have a better chance to escape a gruesome fate… and toes too, for that matter. Owie! :0(
@platypusernumber2 Most of them used my services for many years, and provided me with a very positive and loyal reference base and networking grid (not to mention many wonderful gifts…like fresh-baked cookies!). My main point is, do not despise the day of small beginnings. Do whatever your hand finds to do, and do it honestly and whole-heartedly, and you will have good success. Best wishes!
@platypusernumber2 I started mowing at 10. I went door to door around my home town, and I ended up with dozens of jobs. Many, especially elderly folks, also hired me to weed their gardens and do all kinds of other odd job. I let them pay me whatever they saw fit, and I always did my best, most thorough work, regardless. Some couldn’t afford to give me much, but others paid me enough to more than compensate for that. They all kept me through the winters too, to shovel walkways/driveways. :0)

My younger brother was mowing in sandals. He slipt and mowed 3 1/2 toes. So my tip is wear steal toe boots. You never know. God bless.
